Are you hungry for Tampere?

Tampere boasts a unique and versatile food culture influenced by our clean nature and the countryside that surrounds us. Locality is strongly present in many restaurants’ menus and drink lists as well as the biggest indoor market hall in the Nordic countries, the Tampere Market Hall.

Come and bring your friends too!
Restaurants in Tampere are just made for hanging out and having a good time with friends. One of the most intriguing places is Kumma junkbar & lounge. It’s an urban living room in the heart of Tampere. Tasty menu also includes a good variety of vegan and vegetarian options. We recommend to stop by not just for the food, but for the interior decoration too.

Delicious pizza with friends is a classic. Pizzas at restaurant Sitko are self-made from scratch and definitely worth tasting. Psst! Also check out their great drink menu!

Restaurant C, located on the same street, is a cozy restaurant devoted to good food and wines and prompt, but warm service. All the dishes are prepared from organic, biodynamic and ethical ingredients.

If there already aren’t enough great restaurants along one street, Restaurant Kajo is also located in Rautatienkatu street. They offer the purest flavours of nature combined with generous hospitality. The kitchen fills ones plate with savory stories while honoring the origins of food. The menu evolves to provide the best seasonal experience, yet staying firmly rooted in nature. Dishes are recommended to be shared together with companions.

They go together like weekend and brunch!
A delicious brunch is the way to start the day in Tampere. Enjoy a brunch at the locals’ favourite, Café Pispala. Café Pispala is in an idyllic wooden house in Pispala area. The brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays. If you’d like to have brunch at Café Pispala, you might want to make a reservation beforehand.
