Last week I was in London for the Eye For Travel TDS (Travel Distribution) 2016 Conference.
In a panel conference, I gave a short presentation about the great opportunities there are for small publishers of high quality original content like us in this industry dominated by “user generated content”.
That was fun! I got to see the Hilton Tower Bridge from the inside for the conference (unfortunately my bed was in a hostel dorm room…), met many interesting people and learned a lot about our exciting “industry” of travel.
Of course after the conference we met for a drink with the London Spotters. We had a great time at the cool “Mother Kelly’s” micro brewery!
The weather was lovely, so in the little spare time I had I walked around as much as I could. This time I concentrated especially on a one area I had not previously visited, but which turned out to be super cool: Hackney Wick, an area full of warehouses & street art. Trendy, but not so well known, so highly recommended! Check out the The Counter Cafe & Crate Brewery articles for a taste.
