From left to right: Zoƫ, Kelly, Sanne and Elin at Fuglen
Last weekend, we flew to Oslo to meet our Spotters. Just like in 2010, again in November. Unfortunately no fairytale-like snow like last year, but some milder temperatures great for some more walking around the city without freezing!
Of course, we tried to see and experience as many spots our Spotters wrote about as we could using the Oslo Spotted by Locals app. Some of the highlights:
- The beautiful MĆøllefossen waterfall Elin wrote about (pictured above). No need to venture outside of Oslo to experience the beautiful nature Norway has to offer – it’s right outside the center of Oslo!
- Dinner at the popular and very trendy Delicatessen restaurant. As Oslo is not the cheapest city, we saved some money by having a falafel sandwich in the Kebab center Torggata on our second night.
- The cosy bars with fireplaces, like GlĆød
Oslo Spotter Andrea & Bart at Fuglen
On Saturday afternoon, we had a lovely meeting with all our Oslo Spotters in Fuglen – we were lucky to find a place to sit in this popular coffee shop.

Zoƫ tapping a beer at Schouskjelleren
Saturday night, we had a last drink at the Schouskjelleren micro-brewery, the bar ZoĆ« works at. Wonderful beers by a fireplace in a cellar surrounded by locals – a perfect way to toast to another great trip to the wonderful city of Oslo!
