After the epic 3rd Spotters Weekend last week many spontaneous updates started appearing on Facebook with beautiful words about our amazing multi-cultural community. They’re too good to stay behind a Facebook wall, so I asked some Spotters if I could show their updates with you.
105 people from 31 countries, most of whom have never met any of the other Spotters, magically connected just because they’re curious and interested in other cultures. In these xenophobic & nativist times I think many people can learn from our Spotters.
On our Facebook group Spotters fantasize about escaping this increasingly intolerant world to form a “People’s Republic of Spotters” island (with lots of Scottish tequila)… which of course we can’t do because it would mean leaving our beloved cities 🙂
