Why we love working with tourist boards

Ever since we started Spotted by Locals in 2008, we’ve been cooperating with tourist boards to promote their city. We love it, as we share the same goal with tourist boards: showing cities from the best side!

We’re happy more and more tourist boards are interested in showing the “local” perspective of a city to visitors, and we love helping them with this.

The Belgrade, Brussels, Helsinki, Paris, Tallinn, Tel Aviv, Vilnius & Zagreb tourist boards regularly share our Spotters’ articles on their website (with our custom made API!) or on social media.

The Ghent and Vienna (see below) tourist boards have executed successful display advertising campaigns on our blogs to promote their city.

And we’re also talking to a few tourist boards to get their city on the list of Spotted by Locals cities…
