Berklee School of Music: Summer Concerts Boston – Tune in

Music
"The "Berklee School of Music Summer Concerts" are a great way to enjoy good music in Boston in different venues and by musicians from diverse backgrounds!"

The Berklee School of Music in Boston is at the helm of shaping the talent of rising musicians. And the best way to discover some of these gifted musicians is through a series of free concerts that the school organizes in the summer months. Held in different public spaces across the city multiple times each week, these free concerts have an easy going vibe. Some of the locations that the concerts are held at are popular spots for visitors and locals alike. For example spots like the Boston Public Library, Atlantic Wharf, Lawn on the D, Kendall Square, and Prudential Center located in downtown Boston are easily accessible and close to popular landmarks. Other concert venues like Castle Island, Georges Island and Salem are less than an hour away from Boston - making these events a wonderful excuse for day trips.

Not only is Berklee's summer series held at vibrant venues, the musicians too range from diverse backgrounds. This year, I'm excited to listen to a Cuban jazz pianist, a Portuguese singer and singers originating from countries that include Panama, Japan, Chile, Ecuador, South Korea and the Balkans. My round-the-world ticket may not be around the corner, but a taste of the world is right here in the heart of Boston.

PS: To know about the latest concert near you, check out the concerts page.
