Boston Burger Company is a staple of Bostonian college students, and their Boylston location is my go-to stop whenever I have a few spare bucks, as I know I'm going to leave happy, full, and hating myself juuuuust a little bit for my greasy and delicious choices in food. Warning: This is NOT a good place to go if you're trying to diet - take it from me.
As the name implies, the stars of Boston Burger Co's menu are its burgers, which range from a classic Boston Burger (lettuce, tomato and onions) to some pretty insane choices - example #1, the 420 Burger, which is topped with mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fries, bacon, FRIED mac-and-cheese, and BBQ sauce. Yep, you read that correctly.
Every burger comes with delicious homemade potato chips, and your choice of baked beans or coleslaw, so you're guaranteed to be stuffed. Plus, what I really love about this place is that they can customize any one of their special burgers to be vegetarian, or replace their beef patties with turkey patties if you're looking for a leaner choice.
Boston Burger Company is known for more than its insane burgers - it has a decent selection of behemoth milkshakes known as "FreakFrappes", which are towering creations of ice cream, whipped cream, candies, and cookies. You can even get one, "The King", which features bacon as a main ingredient! I know, I'm confused too - let me know how it is!
