So, full disclosure, I lived in Southeast Asia for nearly two years. I’ve traveled extensively in the region, and I have a small passion for Thai food. Kor Tor Mor, a literal hole in the wall on the side of the road in Davis Square, delivers authentic, flavorful, take-me-back-to-Asia Thai food.
The restaurant is tiny, just four tables sitting along the wall. If you’ve ever been to a hip Thai restaurant that caters to the top crust Thai people in Bangkok, you’ll recognize the interior decor. White walls, floating wooden shelves, artistically placed succulents. This is authentic modern Thai.
The food is super yummy. My first love is pad see-ew and theirs is flavorful and decadent, the perfect indulgence. I’ve also tried their Kor Tor Mor Noodle Soup. The broth was light and fresh, and tasted like the Southeast Asian soups I remember, especially once I filled it up with spicy red pepper sauce.
My boyfriend loves the Pad Thai, because of course. The noodles are cooked to perfection and you have your choice of meats or tofu. The restaurant is extremely vegetarian-friendly and, if you are staying in the area, they deliver!
