Little Big Diner, located in Newton Center, is a seriously tiny Asian fusion joint that packs a huge ramen punch. And people in Boston are well aware of its ramen game - seriously, plan for a half hour to forty-five minute wait here once you get your name down, longer if you're with a larger group. Trust me though, it'll be well worth it! Once you've got your name down, you can always check out nearby shops or grab a coffee and ice cream at the J.P. Licks down the street while you wait.
Once you're seated at the counter or tables, you'll have a moment to admire Little Big Diner's adorable octopus mural and get some drinks before the quick and friendly staff take and deliver your food order. My go-to is the vegetarian option - the green curry mazeman - and it is TO DIE FOR. It's thick, creamy, and has the perfect amount of spice. Don't worry about how huge the ramen servings are, as the comforting sign above the counter tells you, "Calories don't count if it's your birthday, if it's raining, or if you're sitting at the counter".
