The restaurant Stefanka is located right next to the President's palace so the location is totally right in the city center of Bratislava. We went there with friends on a Friday evening and we had a great time. Excellent food, wine, great service and atmosphere.
Stefanka has 2 main spaces: the restaurant and the wine premises downstairs. In the wine premises, there are wine tasting events as well as concerts. For my main dish, I went for a duck stuffed with pear and bacon served with 'lokse' and red cabbage. Everything was so well cooked. They also offer starters, soups and desserts, all in Slovak style.
The most interesting thing about the restaurant building is the fact that it was built in 1897 by the architect Alexander Feigler and all main interior and exterior features have been preserved since then. That's why some people call the place 'Bratislava's Legend'. The only down side is that they are closing the restaurant pretty early at 22:00 - but you can continue with the usual Friday fun in the city center as all the pubs and clubs are nearby. :)
The lunch Menu starts at 11:30.
