Va Bene is a restaurant located at Riazanska Street within the hotel Blue in the New Town. We went for dinner on the weekend and it was absolutely the best choice we could have made.
As a starter, we went for a bruschetta with goat cheese, rocket salad and honey dip with walnuts on the top - an excellent mixture of flavors. For the mains we had a medium beef hanger steak marinated in fresh herbs, served with baked young potatoes and baby spinach, and as pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon served with fried potatoes with onions. Dessert was an absolute fantasy - homemade chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice-cream and strawberry dip. We also tasted some homemade fallow deer paté with onion chutney and home made bread.
If I could describe the food in a few words I would say 'Homemade and Fresh'! And that speaks for everything, as every high standard restaurant wants to be described this way. I would recommend this place 100%!
