Le Parc de Forest is a park on the border of Saint Gilles and Forest (which it’s named after) municipalities in Brussels. The park was designed by Victor Besme, a Belgian urban architect who developed a big part of the extension and beautification of Brussels in the 19th century.
The park is on a little hill and close to the highest point of Brussels with nice views over the city.
This park combines some nice footpaths between the trees with a wide-open lawn of green grass where people come to enjoy the sun in summer.
The park also hosts a “Guingette” in the summer where you can have some food, drinks and enjoy live concerts.
There is also a playground made of sand where you can practice sports like volleyball, football or others.
If you walk through Parc de Forest you’ll walk right into Parc Duden which is also a very nice park to walk in.
