After much anticipation, Hello Gyula opened its doors in the summer of 2025. Located in a residential yet lively district of Budapest, on Hegedűs Gyula street. You'd think it's not easy to bring about something new, but Hello Gyula managed to get ahead of us with a huge leap.
The name, gastro bar, already gives you a hint that whoever prepares the food here thinks outside the box. This is a very small one-man business with a huge heart in every detail of the takeaway bar. Everything is thought out and perfectly executed.
Unusual, high-quality ingredients, super creative additions, and bold ideas. The kind of food you won't get bored with, because you can't, as there is always a refreshing little twist hidden somewhere that takes you out of the everyday rhythm.
The setup is the following: there is a daily menu between 12–2 PM that consists of a daily soup full of taste and top ingredients, an ever-changing laffa sandwich, and lastly, an exciting dessert. You can also choose two out of the three courses at absolutely reasonable prices, especially considering the quality of what you get.
Besides the daily menu, there is also a fixed menu with vegetarian options, so you can always count on your favorites.
This spot is the opposite of mass production; every element of the story is carefully curated to blend into something unique.
