KÉK - Contemporary Architecture Center is a unique highlight on the bustling Bartók Béla Boulevard near Szent Gellért Square. It is the home for a bunch of niche, yet much-needed projects in Budapest. The team of KÉK is the mastermind of a number of well-curated programmes and participants in several international initiatives.
Among many other projects, they organize the yearly Budapest-100 in May, a civil festival that mobilizes the entire city. KÉK regularly guides urban walks and operates five community gardens.
One might assume that with so many ambitious projects and visions, KÉK could feel a bit unapproachable. However, the reality is quite the opposite — they've created an open and welcoming space where anyone can join them for remote work.
KÉK is a warm and inclusive space where people enjoy chatting during breaks while also respecting the need for quiet focus. There are also bookable meeting rooms and a good coffee machine with high-quality beans to have a comfortable, undisturbed working day in Buda.
You can settle your daily or monthly deal on the spot and start working right away among local architects and others renting a place there. With a monthly co-working pass, you can access the office 24/7.
Prices are very fair compared to other co-working spaces, though they’re currently being updated. For the latest info, reach out to KÉK at helyszin@kek.org.hu.
