This charming bakery is located right next to a calm area in the inner city. Here you can find a selection of savory and sweet baked pastries, bread and hand-crafted Hungarian-style sandwiches.
My all-time favorite is the Mexican roll and the pistachio donut! ‘Kisperec Bakery’ also has seats right by the window where you can enjoy your treats with your morning coffee while looking outside at how the world moves at a different pace.
It's truly worth arriving early in the morning, as the pastries tend to disappear quickly as the day progresses. The friendly staff behind the counter are always ready with a warm smile, and the summer terrace makes it a perfect spot for enjoying yourself while in Budapest!
