One of my latest findings in Budapest is Tosti, which is so small that if you blink, you'll miss it. It is tiny and cute, but it has more to offer than what it looks like.
This small business is owned by a Dutch couple, and they happily offer their traditional toasts and specialities. While on your way to the Parliament from the Nyugati Station, I recommend grabbing a toast from here or sitting and having it there at one of the cute tables. Unfortunately, the chances for that are small since the seating area is limited.
If you were lucky enough to be seated, I would suggest having a “full Amsterdam “ experience: get an Old Adam toast and, afterwards, enjoy a black Danish coffee with a syrup waffle as well.
