Rose Valley Park Chisinau
Moldovan Disneyland
Rose Valley Park is one of the biggest parks in Chisinau, perfect for a relaxing weekend walk. There are usually lots of kids in the park because there is an amusement park in it. It is like a small local Disneyland with very low prices.
My favorite attraction there is the Ferris wheel, especially in the evening. You can see the park and the whole city from up there. You can also buy ice cream or cotton candy and get a dose of adrenaline on the other attractions.
One of the most visited is the ”Romanita” or chamomile in translation, a construction with many metal swings attached to chains spinning around at a high speed. I recommend you to get a ride on it at least once if you like a bit of adrenaline.
You will especially like this park if you are interested in history. The whole place is deep in a Soviet atmosphere, the attractions there are old but still working well.
