Kauf dich glücklich became my favorite shop for clothes a couple of years ago and I am still a very loyal customer. Literally translated, the name suggests that you can shop yourself happy – and that’s exactly what happens every time I go.

The interior is hip and minimalistic: Clear shapes, plain clothes racks hanging from the ceiling and fitting rooms made out of chipboard. When you enter, you won’t immediately realize the actual size of the store. It’s situated on three floors, so make sure you don’t miss the clothes section in the basement.

Kauf dich glücklich is a great place for men and women alike – I actually love going with my boyfriend as we usually both find things we like. They also offer some nice home-ware from cutlery to vases and even blankets and carpets. The design is mostly Scandinavian, for the home-ware as well as the clothes labels.

Some years ago, Kauf dich glücklich started their own clothes collection with a plain, very stylish design. Everything is produced in Europe, so expect higher prices than what you’d pay at some of the cheap international brands. But there are always some items on sale, too.
