Le Pop Lingerie Cologne – Underwear with a French twist

"Le Pop Lingerie" in Cologne is a shop I've fallen in love with. There's Diane, the amazing French owner, the cool interior & the affordable, sexy wares...

'I didn't know that buying underwear could make me this happy' - that's what a friend told me after I took her shopping at Le Pop Lingerie. I fell in love with everything this shop offers immediately. There's Diane, the amazing French owner, the super cool interior and most of all, the unique choice of lingerie that is affordable, sexy and high quality at the same time.

What makes Le Pop lingerie really special for me is the atmosphere: always relaxed and familiar. The owner and her equally nice staff are good at keeping the right distance while still being extremely helpful when it comes to finding the right sizes and shapes. But even if you don't try anything, check out the two changing rooms in the back with their sex-hotline-themed wall paper. They are as spectacular as the wallpaper behind the cashier with its giraffe- and deer-headed female chests. But don't spend all your time admiring the exceptional interior design of the store, because there is so much more to see. Next to the underwear, le Pop Lingerie also offers a nice collection of swimwear and love toys - without the 'dirty' sex-shop feel to it.

And, as the name "Le Pop Lingerie" suggests, Diane doesn't only have great taste in lingerie, she also has amazing taste in music. Every now and then, Diane hosts concerts or special events in her shop. Check the Facebook page to see what's going on.

Miss Päpki – THE café

"Miss Päpki" in Cologne is definitely a stereotype cafe. It reminds me very strongly of an old royal English tea house, but it's made with lots of passion.
