When I first heard about the concept of bubble tea, I did not quite understand the abstraction of it. As a matter of fact, I am not yet sure I understand the whole process of ordering bubble tea. However, I really like bubble tea and it has come to Copenhagen to stay. Taste of Taiwan is a bubble tea café that has specialised in the art of making bubble tea. The concept, after all, is more or less simple: you can have it either hot or cold, with various types of tea, with various types of syrup, with or without milk, and you can finally add bubbles made of fruit juice in many tastes and flavours or you can add the chewy yet oddly tasty tapioca bubbles, made from tapioca starch.
My girlfriend introduced me to the concept over a year ago and after getting acquainted with it, I must admit I am in love with the concept and I always look forward to trying out a new taste or flavour. There are two Taste of Taiwan's in Copenhagen, one in Nørrebro and one in the inner city.
