Jam Art Factory is an independent gallery and art retailer who are passionate about showcasing new Irish design and talent. They sell everything from ceramics & textiles to jewellery & street art in many different forms. The artists featured are hand-picked, and each has something unusual and unique to offer the Irish art scene. They specialise in prints, a lot of which are colourful and make a great gift for a housewarming or to send to someone who has moved abroad. They first opened their doors on Patrick Street, in the heart of The Liberties in 2011, and has expanded since to a premier location in Temple Bar.
On a personal level, it’s one of my favourite independent stores in Dublin and the first place I think of for a unique gift idea or a funny greeting card. The store on Patrick’s Street is in a gorgeous location, great for admiring the historic red brick buildings and close to the stunning St. Patricks Cathedral.
