One of my favorite places in Dublin city is the Botanical Gardens. It is the perfect place to walk and relax while admiring the vibrant colors of the flowers and the incredible variety of plants. I also think that any visitor has a guaranteed smile when discovering the squirrels running and playing in the bushes.
For me, The National Botanical Gardens is the perfect place to escape the busy life of the city and relax with a dose of nature in this very calm environment. Within the Botanical Gardens, it is worth highlighting the impressive glasshouses, such as the Teak House, The Alpine House, or the Orchid house, among others, all of them with stunning architecture. The glasshouse that catches my attention the most is The Victoria Waterlily House as once you enter it transports you to a new world with a warm and humid climate and some giant lily pads inside (it makes me feel like I'm in Jurassic Park for some reason lol).
Due to the current situation, the glasshouses are closed but the rest of the gardens are open to the public and I think it is the perfect place to spend the whole morning admiring its beauty while relaxing. Believe me, this place looks like something out of a fairy tale.
