If you are in for a hunt for a great coffee, this is Dublin's finest! Wigwam inherited a great place that only a few years ago was a full-time venue with great live music and gig almost every night. At some point, the owners recognized that it's a fantastic hub and people really like to hang around the place even when there was nothing on and also during the day, so they invited 3FE to set up a cafeteria in the premises. In 2013, 3FE switched off the coffee machines, however their main barista stayed behind and opened The Vice Coffee Inc with Dublin's best multi-roaster coffee bar.
The fantastic coffee and home-made cakes are my main reason to come down here, however this place is so much more than this. In the basement, you can find a social club with ping-pong tournaments (on Wednesdays at 19:00), a comedy club, a theatre, podcast shows and even bottomless brunches. There is also a lovely terrace upstairs with live acts, meet-ups and screenings to fill the evening.
The truth is, I come here sometimes 'just for the coffee' and before I blink, I'm dancing upstairs to great music after listening to some interesting talks the entire afternoon. This place has it all.
