This small cheesemonger’s stocks a fantastic array of cheeses, cured meats and other deli products from small artisan producers across Scotland and the wider world. Their produce is proudly stocked in some of Edinburgh’s best restaurants. It truly is a cheese lover’s paradise. But the real reason it’s worth making the trip to Morningside is because they have recently added a ‘tasting room’ in the back of their shop.

In this rustic little space you feel like you have stepped into the back of a Parisian cafe from days gone by. Here you can order up a plate of artisan farmhouse cheeses and enjoy them over a glass of wine before you decide on what you really like and shop for something to take away with you. Try the goat cheese with honey for something deliciously out of the ordinary!
