This hip Thai street food place is right in the heart of the university district. Always bustling with people, it serves an array of cheap and tasty Thai dishes to an eclectic crowd of students, hipsters and the hungry. You cannot book and they only take cash, so come prepared for a wait at busy times! The food is great though, and the service is fast, informal and friendly. It is not a laid-back dining experience, however, and the atmosphere has a real frenetic, friendly buzz that makes the whole experience of being there very exciting.
And if the atmosphere doesn't excite you; the food will. I recommend ordering lots of smaller dishes so that you get an opportunity to taste as much as you can! There are the classic Thai dishes done well but they are also accompanied by some interesting small plates like the "deep fried eggs with crispy shallots, dry chili and ting chili jam"- a delight for the more adventurous diner!
