Are you tired of all the Bistecca alla Fiorentina you are having in Florence and you just want to go out for some tapas and drinks? La Cova is in a little road near Palazzo Pitti and it feels like you are in Barcelona with one liter Sangria pitchers and margaritas. Yes, their cocktails are really amazing and this is the place to go if you want to do a girl's night out and have fun while eating delicious tapas - comfort food is always a good idea.
Make sure to taste the croquettes and the octopus, I also enjoyed the patatas bravas, I missed them from Spain. The owners are really friendly and young and the music is always cool. The only bad part is they don't take reservations so you can't book a table, but the waiting line is not that bad, also try to get a table in the front part it is fun to see the people go by and interact! If you are a big group they have a nice big room downstairs for parties!
