Temakinho is a psychedelic Brasilian sushi restaurant in the posh area of Florence, between piazza della Repubblica and via dei Tornabuoni. Don't let yourself be disappointed by the position, because when you first go inside you seem to be in a Hawaiian bar with bamboo chandeliers, funny and colourful '70s wallpapers. It's the restaurant I imagine in Alice's Wonderland with three colourful rooms: pink, yellow and green, with bamboo furniture and birds and flamingos on every wall. It's a kind of psychedelic spot and you won't be disappointed by the restroom either!
But let's talk about the food: it's really tasty! It's a different sushi restaurant with Brasilian dishes. So you could taste fish, but with a Brasilian flavor.
If you don't like sushi, you can choose the typical Brasilian meat dish, the “Picanha”!
I tasted their crocante, some rolls, the udon noodles and the churrasco picanha, along with a caipirinha, of course!
