Geneva is in what is comically known as the "wine" Switzerland a reference to the sprawling wineyards in the French-speaking parts of the country. So, it is hard to imagine a place for nice, cold beers here. Tom Beers is here to prove you wrong.
Tucked away in Eaux-vives, Tom Beers is one of a kind. It has one of the largest collections of beers in Geneva in a store format, and also has around 30 beers on tap. You can choose to buy from the store and drink it at the table or go for the tap choices.
From local Genevoise beers to beers from the Nordics, they have a wide range. The folks at the counter are knowledgeable, kind, and a real fun bunch who will not only suggest the perfect drink for your mood but also pour it in the right glassware. You also have a range of charcuterie plates to go with the drinks.
The place has a rustic, bar-ish vibe and has two TVs, as well as running sports events. Tom Beers is that spot that the locals guard with their lives, lest the vibe get watered down.
