I love simple things and truly believe that the best things can be built with simple things. Like a perfect wood oven pizza in a neighbourhood where you don't expect it, here in Hoheluft. I've already been there twice because I love the fact that their oven is so hot that the pizza is ready for you in two minutes. Aaaaand I love the ingredients they use here. True Italian stuff, right?!
They serve lunch break specials. For good Italian pizza napoletana, try this place. The crust tastes like fresh bread, the tomato sauce is great and I love their margherita pizza. But any other is great there, too. It seems small from the entrance but is big enough for more people as you walk some stairs into the light and big main room.
The staff is very friendly and you can have your pizza for take-out, help yourself to a beer from the supermarket just on the other side of the street and head to the canal nearby the metro station "Hoheluftbrücke" (well, and Ufer Café which is there, too). Currently they have a special every Tuesday: each pizza for 7,50€ from 17:00 on. Take your friends out!
