Tea is something like a national beverage in Turkey; so I, too, have an intense relationship with Turkish black tea. As a result of this, Dem is a good spot for me to visit when I find the possibility.
Dem is a tea house standing in the Karaköy area with warm, comfortable and stylish interior design. They serve more than 40 different kinds of tea, including black, white, green and more. I haven't tried their breakfast yet, but they do also serve breakfast, some desserts and snacks.
My favorite kind of tea there is the Diyarbakır tea. A local and dark tea with a bergamot flavor from southeastern Turkey. In summertime they also serves very good homemade ice tea.
It's better to visit this place on weekdays or early in the weekends, because during the weekends they might be a little bit busy, like most the places in Karaköy.
