Frankestayn Kitabevi celebrates gender, feminism, and the voice of marginalized authors. It’s a hidden gem in the vibrant neighborhood of Beyoglu.

The moment you step into this bookstore, you see the shelves filled with an impressive array of books, ranging from feminist classics to contemporary works that include a wide range of topics. It is refreshing to see a bookstore’s commitment to supporting independent publishers and providing a platform for unique perspectives and undiscovered literary gems.

The staff at this bookstore are knowledgeable and passionate about the books they offer. They are more than happy to engage in conversations, recommend titles based on your interests, and create a sense of community within the space. In addition to their remarkable collection, the bookstore also hosts events such as book signings, author talks, and panel discussions.

On the second floor, they have a small café that completes my every visit with a cup of steaming coffee or a delightful treat. The café’s menu serves nice coffee selections, and my favorite is cortado; each sip offers a moment of pure bliss. They also have a short but promising assortment of toasts, sandwiches, and patisseries. Their homemade granola is my favorite.

Overall, Frankestayn Kitabevi is a paradise for those seeking knowledge, empowerment, and an exploration of diverse perspectives. Whether you’re a bookworm or a curious mind, this bookstore promises an enriching and enlightening experience that will leave you inspired and hungry for more.
