Kyiv is known as a yummy place: the city offers plenty of restaurants where you will definitely find your favorite cuisine. Nevertheless, it’s always a big question – even for a local – where to go eat if one is hungry and in a hurry. Located in the very city center, on one of the most famous city streets (Velyka Vasylkivska str.), Mama Manana has something to offer if you like Georgian cuisine. Hot meat dumplings, well known as khinkali, cheese bread (khachapuri), grilled meat (shashlyk) and fish, homemade wine – whatever you need for going big or going home.
Despite the pretty good location and nice service, the food and wine prices are also relatively low. Apart from this, Mama Manana offers different workshops (e.g. khinkali making or khachapuri baking) both for children and adults on a regular basis (mostly on the weekends).
I like Georgian cuisine and go regularly to Mama Manana for tasty food and small talk with my friends or just to have a cozy moment during a messy day.
