Management summary: I love Sea Me.
Sea Me is located close to Praça Luis Camões, just outside Bairro Alto's narrow streets. This makes it an ideal place to dine before heading into Bairro Alto or descending to Cais do Sodré.
It is a fish- and seafood restaurant with a modern look and feel. The quality of all the ingredients is excellent. Some dishes are served in a traditional way, but most are presented with a modern twist. Dishes range from grilled fish to sushi and tempura to tuna carpaccio. Everything is fresh and delicious.
The setting is informal, with long wooden tables and benches. It can be a bit crowded, especially in the weekend, so booking in advance is recommended.
My favorite spot is not at one of the tables but at the bar, sipping a glass of bubbly and snacking on some delicious seafood dishes. Don't forget to ask for the daily special from the oyster bar.
And bring your wallet!
If you like this place, they also have a corner at the recently opened Mercado da Ribeira and own the Prego da Peixaria (check the O Prego da Peixaria article) in Principe Real.
