Three Falcons is truly a gem tucked away in a quiet street right by Edgware Road up north.
It serves quite possibly the best Indian food I’ve had in London and has everything you would want: a laid-back bar, comfortable indoor seating and an enjoyable terrace equipped with heaters. It doubles as a sports bar and projects football games on their big screens, so make sure to call ahead to see if your game will be on!
Wherever we’re a group of more than 6, we find ourselves in Three Falcons. They are always ready with our reservation and are quick to accommodate us. Our server was very friendly and helpful, but we occasionally get a less friendly member of staff on busy nights when they are overwhelmed. Something we quickly tend to forgive as soon as the food hits our tables.
We share mixes of vegetarian starters, lamb biryanis, chicken and shrimp curries, and everyone gets to try everything. For the entire meal, all you see are hands passing dishes around the table and garlic and cheesy naans scooping up all the sauces.
Although the prices per dish are a bit over what you would normally pay for a curry, I would say it’s well worth it.
Always remember … life’s too short to die on an empty stomach – so make it count!
