As a kid, Dario was already working in his father's restaurant and discovering the secrets of the recipes from the beautiful "Provincia di Salerno" in Italy, where his family comes from. After he'd finished law studies, he decided to take on the challenge to open his own restaurant in 2014 with his father's support, "Culturando," which comes from "culture."
"Eating is culture, because it invented and transformed the world. It is the result of our identity." (Massimo Montanari)
The atmosphere is very familiar; the whole team comprises young people, all coming from the same region of Salerno in Italy and passionate about their food. What makes it even better is that there is no fixed menu! Every morning, Dario and his team come together to prepare a new menu with around 15 dishes, freshly prepared with the vegetables from their garden and the best products from their home country. You feel as if you were in a small Italian village where the owner comes to your table, gives you advice on the Italian wine that goes best with your dish. You will just fall in love with the place and the food.
I love the terrace where I can sit for hours on summer evenings with friends and just enjoy, but even the smaller room inside (the lower level) is very cozy, with blue-white Italian tiles on the walls, wine bottles and cookbooks all around.
From the city centre: take bus nr.4 or 10 and have a small walk up to the restaurant.
