Malmo has a penchant for fitness, movement and conscious living.
At the intersection of fitness and conscious living lies Hot Yoga Caroli. A well-established yoga studio featuring two hot rooms at around 37 Celsius, it offers more classes than any other studio in the city. Sign up for a Vinyasa flow, Bikram style 26 & 2, or slower-paced Earth class to start off the day. Alternatively, you can ease into the week with some Sunday Yin yoga or find a midweek solace in a 90-minute Dharma Yoga series.
As a student of Yoga, it's not easy to find a studio that combines Yoga philosophy with practice and yet holds space for all levels of students. The teachers are amazing, with years of experience and eloquently enunciated cues to guide you into even the most challenging poses. Simply through words and subtle adjustments, I have found my practice getting stronger and deeper.
For me, Hot Yoga Caroli has been the perfect place to come and unwind, no matter the season. If you like, there is a chance to sit and mingle after class with some hot herbal tea, browse through some yoga books, or find your next yoga mat or props to support your practice.
Drop in for a single class or try out the studio if you're visiting Malmo for a week. You're sure to find your ‘sangha’ and a place where you can come and return to yourself.
