Japanese food is going on strong with many spots opening one after the other in the city. Biiru has been open for almost a year and is now already a well respected Japanese eatery, located downtown in the Quartier des spectacles.
With its generous terrace and its high ceiling indoor space, Biiru is a very cool looking bistro with an exquisite menu. They now have an original Ramen that has a local twist to it, cheeze! But other classic dishes like the karaage, the okonomiyaki and the chirashi are really worth the trip.
On the funky side of things, the Japadawg is definitely one of my favorites, a kind of shrimp and pork sausage sandwich. The trendy music is just loud enough, ranging from jazz to house music, and the drinks amazing, all to make this spot a fun one for everyone.
