Alice's Tea Cup New York

Whimsical tea room and eatery

""Alice's Tea Cup" in New York City is a whimsical restaurant that stays true to the creativity of the book & movies. Tips are included in the prices here!"

Take a dive down the rabbit hole for some tea and baked goods at Alice’s Tea Cup on the Upper West Side. The entire restaurant stays true to the creativity of the books and movies with an air of whimsy and a massive assortment of creative tea blends. Everywhere you look, scenes from the stories are painted on the walls.

Take your choice of a host of different baked goods, finger foods, and soups, as well as teas and tea-based cocktails to match. The “eat me” and “drink me” signs aren’t necessary here, because you’re going to want to dig in regardless. The dinnerware and tea sets are beautifully decorated and mismatched to add to the whimsical feeling the restaurant provides. The surprising thing is, Alice’s Tea Cup includes the tip in the price of the meal, contrary to most American customs! On your way out, don’t forget to stop at the counter and buy some of their loose-leaf tea to go! All the teas found on the menu can be purchased by the ounce at the front counter to be enjoyed later.
