Queens Bakehouse New York

New York Style patisserie

""Queens Bakehouse" in NYC was an instant hit with me. Their inventive twists on classics are what really stole my heart - the croissant loaf, for example."

Queens Bakehouse was an instant hit with me, simply on the merit of their delicious buttery croissants. The absolute best! Buttery and flaky, just like in Paris. But their inventive twists on classics really stole my heart. My two favorites are: the croissant loaf, and the everything croissant.

The croissant loaf is essentially a bunch of croissants stuffed into a loaf pan, and then baked together into a delicious tear-and-share pastry. This has been a big hit for picnics! I love buying a loaf to share over coffee in the park. The staff also recommends using slices of the croissant loaf for french toast! Ooh la la!

Another inventive twist on the classic croissant is their "everything" croissant, which is baked with cream cheese filling and topped with the seasonings of an everything bagel. This creation is the epitome of Paris-meets-New York!

Queens Bakehouse also serves other French-inspired pastries like macarons, eclairs, and entremets, as well as savory sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. They also serve gourmet coffee and espresso throughout the day!

The style of the bakery is minimal and chic. The decor features subtle nods to Queens' history as a former world's fair location. The service is always prompt and professional. This place is an absolute local gem!
