MTA Times Square Station Art
I've been passing this piece a lot lately, transferring trains for my trips to Crown Heights in Brooklyn. Nearby is a spot where musicians hang out, so it's a nice place to pause for a few minutes, observe and listen before getting back to onward movement.
Located above the mid-level mezzanine between the Shuttle area and the BMT Broadway Line, where you are likely to encounter busking musicians playing ethnic, blues and rock and roll music.
There are five other installations in this station one each by Roy Lichenstein, Jane Dickson, Tony Buonagurio, Blackford and Fisher and Jack Beal, and it is a challenge to find them all.
