O Cafe is a cozy Brazilian cafe situated between Chelsea and West Village (with another location inside the New School.) With leafy foliage-lined walls, friendly baristas, and space for several wooden tables, O Cafe is a cute place to catch up on work, meet with a colleague, or sit and read a book. Their coffee is also amazing, and this is coming from someone who is not a big coffee drinker.
I love their bahia latte, which is an espresso with steamed milk and dark chocolate. My favorite part is drinking it out of the colorful ceramic cups the drinks are served in. They definitely add to the Bohemian jungle vibe of the cafe.
While I have not tried their food, O Cafe's assortment of Brazilian pastries, health food, and other baked goods looks extremely appealing. There is also WiFi and a restroom, which is a blessing as both are hard to come by in New York coffee shops.
