MTA Times Square Station Art
Generally I find all MTA art worthwhile and appealing because it usually takes me aback; I stop, smile, wonder, whatever --- all reactions I experience as energizing and balancing, if the walk through the station with the normal human mass is not energizing enough, or is too much.
The attraction here is that this one station contains six pieces scattered throughout, a spinoff of the wealth of New York City.
Located near West 42nd Street and 7th Ave, S/E corner entrance.
There are five other installations in this station one each by Jacob Lawrence, Jane Dickson, Toby Buonagurio, Roy Lichenstein and Jack Beal and it is a challenge to find them all.
