Fomoto kafé Og interiør is everything its name implies, a place for coffee and shopping for interior design. Weird combination? Maybe, but wait till you visit the shop!
For me, Fomoto was a pleasant surprise, as I was exploring the area along the Akerselva river. Located on the ground floor of a block of flats, it doesn’t look very interesting on the outside, but the smell of freshly baked waffles and coffee is enough to invite you in. And then you enter and get to find everything your heart desires: from ceramics to paper towels, to bathrobes and slippers, healthy and organic foods, glasses and jewelry, boxes and pillows, bags, candles, books, artwork, etc. Literally, everything is in this one very small place! You can actually spend a whole day there and never get bored.
Also, the owners of Fomoto have hung a few tasteful vintage lampshades on the tree outside of the shop. A great place to enjoy your coffee and shopping!
