Fuglen Coffee Roasters is a combination of roastery, café and cocktail bar, and occasionally also a venue for small musical events. They are effectively perfuming the streets of Gamlebyen with the smell of freshly roasted coffee every day of the week, which makes it extremely hard to not stop while passing by.
Fuglen has quickly become my regular neigbourhood coffee spot, which with its simple mid-century Norwegian design interior radiates coziness and homeliness. On cold winter days they make a fire outside and on summer evenings it is buzzing with life.
The roastery's main focus are the highest quality, freshest and most unique coffee grains bought directly from farmers around the world, and many cafés in Oslo are using their products. If you are looking for a tasty gift to bring back home or little something for yourself, you can buy their coffee both on the spot or online.
