Are you craving a frothy cappuccino paired with a delicious croissant to kickstart your day? Or perhaps you're in the mood for something sweet after a busy afternoon? Look no further than Kafé Lucy at Sommerro House.
This charming cafe opened in September 2022 as part of the luxurious Sommero House. Sommero House is a brand new Art Deco hotel that offers an abundance of amenities: 231 rooms, three bars, four restaurants, an underground cinema, and a spa. However, I have chosen to highlight Kafé Lucy, the cozy little café, as that is the venue that I have visited the most frequently. Once you step inside the hotel reception, Kafé Lucy warmly welcomes you, immediately setting the tone for a relaxed, casual and enjoyable visit.
When I come here, I usually sit and relax with a chai latte and a bagel. When the weather is nice, my preferred spot is typically outdoors, where I take pleasure in observing people passing by at Solli Plass. The delightful café boasts a diverse menu of pastries, from croissants to delicious mozzarella focaccias. For those with a sweet tooth, you can indulge in a variety of tempting pastries like banana bread, peanut cookie, and carrot ginger cake. Alternatively, if you prefer a healthier option, you can choose a fruit salad, salmon bagel, or chia pudding. When it comes to beverages, their extensive selection includes a variety of coffee and tea flavours, as well as refreshing juices and smoothies.
