Kiosk! is a little cafe bar located in the Galgeberg neighborhood in the borough of Gamle Oslo (Old Oslo) in Oslo, Norway.
This little building was originally a gas station from 1935 that was transformed into a little sweet local neighborhood cafe after some locals took the initiative. You can find all kinds of coffee and to my surprise even cold cortado and other variations, as well as pastries.
There is room for only two guests inside but has a big yard with coffee tables (and woolen blankets- very important if you are visiting in the winter!) outside. This place is not widely advertised, you can only find it by chance or see it if you happen to live there. You can only reach them by email at hei@kioskoslo.no
The neighborhood itself is worth taking a stroll at. It was originally an execution place with many gallows (hence its present name), while now it is considered a cool and artistic neighborhood only a short walk from the city center.
