Bistrot Le Cap is a family business that people who live in the populous 15th neighbourhood of Paris know well for its quality products and modern version of the traditional French cuisine. I went there several times when a friend was working nearby. It was always a safe bet, and definitely better priced than other restaurants that have their name in renowned guides with red covers.
The situation of the restaurant is in front of the square where the town hall of the 15th neighbourhood is situated. It has a nice terrace where you can even sit on cold days, as it has its tables warmed with gas heaters and nice cosy blankets available to cover your legs while you sip a nice wine or cocktail while you're waiting for the fantastic meal.
I know, this is not a budget restaurant, it is not situated in a touristic area of the city, but the quality of their products and preparations is at the level of other places that have double the price in the centre of the city.
