Post cards, beautiful signs, artistic stationery, English books, vintage gadgets, all of that you will find at Brentano's, near Opera Garnier, in the very centre of the city.
One of my colleagues gave birth to her first child and we at work decided to get a present for her. I was in search of a huge card where more than 20 people could sign and express a wish, and I ended up in that shop where you can find postcards for any type of event, time of the year, or type of person, from the most artistic and stylish to some childish and naif types.
They also have a great selection of English language books and book notes to use on your trip to Paris to record memories or any kind of memorabilia about your trip to the city of light. Have you always dreamed of having one of those iconic posters related to the French way of life? This is also the place to find those, but also plates like the ones that mark the street names, small figurines of anything that is iconic about Paris or even accessories like tote bags or pencils with Paris related themes. But beware, this is not really a souvenir shop, they only sell quality stuff and the prices reflect that.
