This place is one of my favorites in Paris because I have spent wonderful moments there to celebrate birthdays or simply to drink a cocktail. The name of this restaurant, which also includes a speakeasy cocktail bar refers to the famous American writer Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, who wrote many successful books such as The Great Gatsby. The decoration of the restaurant in petrol blue colours with colourful armchairs is very elegant.
On the menu, you will find original and refined dishes that vary according to the seasons. The choice is rather limited but of high quality. Among the dishes, for example, there are two kinds of fish, three of meat and one vegetarian dish. If you like cheese, you can trust them as they are supplied by Marie Anne Cantin, an excellent cheese creamer in the neighbourhood.
The speakeasy bar at the back of the restaurant has a dark decoration and a subdued atmosphere. You can enjoy wonderful cocktails (I advise you to take the cocktail called Dali if you like freshness) and nibble small things to share (ham, guacamole, tarama, burrata…) Here the prices are rather high, indeed, the place is quite chic and the district, close to the Eiffel Tower, is one of the most luxurious in Paris, but it’s worth it!
