Romantic gardens
I like to go to the gardens of Palais Galliera during my lunch break. As my office is not far away, I often take a stroll in search of fresh air and a relaxing spot. The gardens of the Fashion Museum, which is hosted in Palais Galliera, are a magnificent spot.
The open square with its beautiful fountain is surrounded by benches and two small alleys where couples hide their love and individuals come to have a brown bag lunch or simply relax a bit under the sun.
The Italian renaissance building and the gardens were built at the end of the 19th century at the wish of the Duchess of Galliera, who wanted to donate her art collection. For that, she requested a museum to be built. A small building for Parisian standards when talking about museums, it's still very beautiful and allows you to take a break in the busy city.
The entrance from President Wilson avenue is free and the entrance to the museum is from Pierre I of Serbia avenue.
